In Person

Meet in Twickenham, London, in a dedicated space away from everyday demands.

Counselling with Banu

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You might be going through a difficult period or a significant change, or you may feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected without fully knowing why.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting counselling. Together, we can gently explore what is happening for you and what you might need right now.

My aim is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can bring your thoughts and feelings, at a pace that feels manageable for you.

How I Can Support You

You may recognise yourself in some of the areas below, or you may simply have a sense that something isn’t quite right.

Anxiety and stress

– feeling on edge, under pressure or unable to switch off.

Self-esteem and confidence

– struggling with self-criticism, doubt or feeling ‘not good enough’.

Relationships

– difficulties in family, friendships or intimate relationships, or patterns that keep repeating.

Life transitions and change

– navigating changes such as work, family, health or other life stages.

Identity and sense of self

– questions about who you are, where you belong or how you see yourself.

Emotional overwhelm

– feeling flooded by emotions, or feeling numb and disconnected.

Difficult or recurring patterns

– noticing the same challenges coming up again and again.

Personal growth and self-understanding

– wanting to know yourself more deeply and live in a way that feels more aligned with you.

Individual Counselling

I offer one-to-one counselling for adults. Sessions provide a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships and experiences.

I work integratively, drawing from Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches. This allows us to bring together different perspectives in a way that feels most helpful for you.

Rather than following a fixed programme, counselling is tailored to you as an individual, your pace, your history and what you hope to gain from our work together.

Online Counselling

Online counselling offers the opportunity to attend sessions from a private and comfortable space, without the need to travel.

It can provide greater flexibility and can be especially helpful if you have a busy schedule, mobility considerations or live further away.

Online sessions are available to adults across the UK.

In-Person Counselling

In-person counselling is offered in Twickenham, London.

Meeting face-to-face can be helpful if you prefer to be in the same room, or if you value having a dedicated space away from your everyday environment.

Availability for in-person sessions may vary over time, and details can be updated as needed.
